Highly Recommended

Booked 6 rooms for out of town family attending a funeral. I was very impressed with how manager and staff handled complex arrangements for different arrivals and they did their best to put all of us on one floor. The suites are modern, nicely appointed and clean. Location of this hotel is perfect...right beside a mall and grocery store, easily accessible from highway. Highly recommend Candlewood Suites in Olathe Kansas. Excellent value for the money, professional service and very comfortable accommodations.

Great Stay and Great Staff

Overall, this place was a great place to stay! We spent the week and it was well stocked for everything we needed to eat in and cook from the room. The employees did a great job of helping us with any issue that we had and taking care of it in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again! Had issue with reservation where pictures didn’t match what we thought we were getting for the room. They promptly switched us to the correct room for no charge!

While the facility itself could use some better quality repairs and finished, the staff was outstanding! They were consistently pleasant the entire stay! Although I didn’t use the laundry facilities, I love that they were complementary because that is extremely unusual! Also, although I didn’t use the Fitness facility, it was very small and left a lot to be desired.

I'll start by saying we didn’t stay at Candlewood but rather their sister hotel Studio 6 (motel 6). Four days prior to our arrival we were bounced out of Candlewood and moved to Studio 6. They did take care of moving the reservation with the exception of taking care of the difference in prices between the two. Because we booked with Expedia we had to do it. With that said we were very happy with the Studio 6 and the ratings about the rooms and staff are about Studio 6 not Candlewood Suites.

Night staff was really friendly and helpful. Building is older and shows it. Surprised that there was no breakfast but with full kitchen and stores nearby, we managed fine. We won't choose this hotel again although it IS convenient.
