"We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do."

"Delightful rural retreat combining all mod cons with rustic cosy charm. Excellent communication with owner, Maria, who was more than helpful with advice and a great welcome package. The cabin is fully stocked for log fire, strong hot shower, dishwasher and laundry, changes of bedding and towels on our long stay and with a well appointed kitchen.
