"My fiancé and I have stayed in alot of places from casino hotels to cabins in the woods. This place was by far the best place we've stayed at. Being able to bring our dog was great, the cabin was VERY clean and well kept from the kitchen to the fire pit. And honestly what made the trip top notch was the service from the host. If we needed anything at all they were on it. This alone made the trip worth the money. "

Milam Ridge: Modern Cabin Escape. Hot Tub, Covered Deck, Fire Pit

10/10 Excellent

"This is the place you want to go if you are looking for life to slow-down a bit. The location is very remote which allows for some rest and relaxation. There are neighbors close but not so close that anyone is watching your every move. If you are looking for complete quiet though, the neighboring roosters, dogs, and goats may upset you (though we loved this)! We chose this place because we wanted to find some walking trails for our very active dog. This was not the location to choose if that is what you want, but your pup will still appreciate the space. What was incredibly convenient, is that it has a fenced in yard in the front where you can allow your pup to roam freely and still have access to the covered deck in the back. The deck is spacious and is gated from both sides. The main cabin has all the amenities of home. Everything you think you may need is here. Every detail has been thought of, down to spices and small appliances. You have a separate space (building) that opens up to a second bedroom, bathroom, and laundry area. Both buildings are connected by the deck and lock and unlock seamlessly using your provided door code. The owner has has made use of every space with his repurposing of common items. Quite an eclectic collection. Overall we were satisfied with our stay!"

Cozy 2-bedroom, river access, near Smoke Hole, Seneca Rocks & Dolly Sods

8/10 Good

"We arrived after dark. Entry was extremely easy. The bathrooms needed extra attention because of hair but we cleaned them so no problem. I do NOT recommend this cabin for toddlers. The cabin is fine but it is right next to a well traveled road and there is really no place for children to play outside. The river is across the road but there is a no trespassing sign on the property across the road so you have to find an entry point if you want to enjoy it. We were hiking and stargazing so not enjoying that river was not a problem."
