"Here’s a more respectful, balanced version of your review: We appreciated the friendly and welcoming staff, and our room was clean and well-maintained. However, overall our stay didn’t quite meet our expectations. The hotel feels somewhat outdated, and the breakfast selection was fairly average. The location was also less convenient than we had hoped, as it’s a bit far from main attractions. Additionally, the photos online make the property appear more modern than it is in reality."

"The location was perfect in terms of nearby shops, restaurants and areas of interest. Our room was spacious and well kept. Perhaps the most impressive aspect of the hotel, and there were many, was the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. They went over the top to provide help and to make our stay more comfortable in every way. I would certainly recommend it to others looking for a quiet and comfortable place in the center of much action."

"The hotel is in a great location, walking distance to loads of bars and restaurants in Pub St or along the river. The hotel itself is nicely appointed and although it’s on quite a busy road is very well sound insulated, so it can’t be heard from the rooms. Breakfast was pretty good with a decent selection and all the staff were extremely friendly. Overall a very good hotel that is excellent value for money and I would be very happy to stay here again."
