"Stayed at Days Inn and overall had a decent visit. The room itself was nice and clean, and the bed was comfortable, which made for a good stay. The front desk staff were especially friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. The main downside was the noise—there was quite a bit coming from adjoining rooms and outside our room late at night, which made it harder to sleep. That said, we still had a nice visit with friends, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room were definitely positives."

"Air Conditioning in my room did not work, accosted by a junkie in their parkade. Paid for two days, checked out after one night. Staff didn't even bother to ask why I was checking out early. Would never stay here again."

"Likely the dirtiest bathroom I've ever been in at a hotel. Used washcloths were still hanging on the shower curtain bar. Used soap or at least a little bit of it was still on the shelf in the shower. Of I don't know if there was boogers on the wall or if it was puke residue in the bathroom, but there's definitely something that came out of someone's body, hardened to the wall. The beds... As my kid would say" they should have called this place the uncomfortable inn". Honestly they weren't horrible but they were far from great. Quite a large mini fridge in the room, but the cooling coils for the freezer must have had an inch ice on them so so doesn't look like it's been defrosted or turned off a year. So I would think that it doesn't see too regular of cleanings. Elevator didn't work to go up or down for most of the evening and overnight, many of us returning from the Oilers game were unable to get to our rooms since there is no stair access that hotel guests can take. Front desk had a sign on it for the better part of an hour saying, be right back. A few of us went walking around looking for anyone to help get us to our rooms and we grabbed the walkie-talkies and tried to communicate with whoever had it on the other end but no one answered. We phoned and no one answered. I believe they were trying to figure out the elevator situation but between 6 and 10 of us were left. Wondering if we were ever going to get to go to sleep. "

"The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. "

"This place was very disappointing. I could not sleep a single night during my stay. There are no openable windows or proper ventilation, so the air feels trapped and extremely dry. The entire place smells like construction dust, and there is dust everywhere. It feels unfinished and not properly cleaned.It was also very warm inside, making it even more uncomfortable. The couch, which I ended up sleeping on most of the time, is old, damaged, and very uncomfortable.Additionally, the host was not responsive when I tried to reach out about these issues. Overall, this is not an ideal place to stay, and I would not recommend it."
