"As usual, this is my favourite place to stay when I come to Edmonton for work or pleasure. Staff are amazing and super friendly. Rooms are cozy and beds very comfortable. "The location of Varscona Hotel is its absolute strongest asset. Being so central made exploring the area incredibly convenient; it really is the "key" to an stress-free trip. Beyond the location, I was very impressed with the rooms. They have been newly renovated and feel incredibly fresh and modern. I am highly recommending this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, updated stay in Edmonton AB. I would definitely stay here again!"

"The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. "
