"This is one of the most beautiful comfortable hotels we have ever stayed in and we have been throughout Europe on many trips! The staff were lovely, the room spectacular, breakfasts delicious and overall an amazing experience within which to enjoy Antwerp. The staff we met were exceptional - friendly, helpful and so welcoming. And located in a quiet neighborhood, easy steps from old Antwerp, and lots of restaurants. Wonderful stay!"

"Hotel Rubens is a beautiful little oasis from the bustle of Grote Markt. Our room was on the ground floor and had a private patio space which was quite enjoyable. Location was ideal as we walk everywhere and the hotel is located close to all amenities. There is a small restaurant directly across from the front entrance that has great sharing plates and amazing ice cream! Extra thanks to the staff for finding my husband's forgotten glasses and arranging them to be shipped to another location for...

"Hotel was amazing Staff incredible But we had massages and facials It was horrible, she played the same song over and over The facial was excruciating the scrub I asked to remove She just lathered us in oil, it was the worst we ever had. I told the front desk, was told they never had complaints. Not sure if that is how it is done in Europe, but never again. We ended up staying at another hotel when we returned to Antwerp "

"Nice room in an old converted building. Room is very nice except is on upper floor without lift. The owner is very nice, made a pot of tea for me every afternoon. Neighborhood is so so, a lot of renovation going on, with a tatoo studio very near by, a lot of people with tattoo hanging around. But the location is excellent, very near the old town center. It was a little hard to find, the only sign is on this plain looking door with very small words by the street number."

"Very nice property, very clean and organized. It is in a very good location, close to commercial and historical sites. A lot of things to do and places to eat nearby. We had a little confusion with the entry code, but could sort it out with the help of the property management and they immediately took care of it."
