"Staff were all great to us. Our room was large with higher ceilings and a powerful fan. The bathroom was spacious with great water pressure in the shower. The only drawback is that there's no AC. We were in Lucerne in mid 80's, and the room stayed fairly cool during the day. Adding simple AC units would be a big bonus. The buffet style breakfast was excellent, coffee, juice, eggs, meats, cheeses, fruit, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt etc..., and will save you lots of money from the pricey breakfast and lunch options around town. The hotel is located on the river, and walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful historic building with the most amazing location and view in Lucerne- right in the heart of old town! We couldn't get enough of the view of Jesuitkirche across the river and the chapel bridge from our private balcony. This was absolutely worth the money and we had a wonderful stay!"

"Location was ideal and I was glad that I saw that check-in is at Hotel Krone, not far down the road. We stayed in the Egyptian room, another flight up stairs from the elevator, manageable for us but something to consider with heavy luggage if you want this room. A tower fan was available as well as a mini-fridge."

"It was a lovely property to stay at. The lady at front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious and had all the necessary amenities/toiletries. The view from my room was gorgeous as it looked out into Old Town. The one factor I didn't really like was that the cleaning team starts very early in the day (around maybe 8am) and the noise would echo through the hall to my room. I wanted to catch up on some sleep but wasn't able to due to the noise. The hotel location was very convenient. I would still want to come back to stay at this hotel the next time i visit Lucerne."
