"About a hour after we got there I was setting in chair filling out card for a wedding. And my husband was taking a nap and in walks a mad it could have been real up setting. But she can me in kinda knock and said ex caused me"

"The room and building appeared clean and well maintained. My main issue was the noise you could hear from other nearby rooms. You could hear every time someone else flushed a toilet or ran water. And there were some very loud children screaming at one another very early one morning that woke us up. There are signs at the property that they are newly renovated, perhaps some thought should have been placed on a little bit of soundproofing between rooms."

"This place was truly amazing. The country charm, the peaceful setting and all the little personal touches truly made it a place you didn’t want to leave. We spent every morning in the porch swing watching the sun rise through the trees, listening to the distant sound of a rooster crowing and talking to the cows as they made there way over the hill into the pasture beside the house. We spent the afternoons relaxing in the hot tub listening to the birds and the gentle breeze blowing through the trees. And the evenings were spent cuddled up on the comfy couch eating ice cream and watching tv. This was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed, and we will definitely be back. You just know when the driving instructions from the host include “follow the cow pasture” and “turn at the old tobacco barn” that you are coming to a place that will feel like home! I would HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rest and reset. We loved it!"

"This hotel was perfect for our two-night stay in "Mayberry". Within 5-minute drive to everything. Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. The outside was also super clean. The pool area looked nice (we did not use it). The only complaint was the coffee maker and coffee. Coffee pot was one that uses some pod type packs, not a Kureg. And the coffee itself wasn't good. We brought our own, just in case, but was unable to make it due to the type of coffee maker. Otherwise, it was a great stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area."
