"Very helpful staff. Very clean. No free towels at the pool which was cold. Garden view not good at all, ground level and people can look right into your bedroom with no door. Outside door was a unique design but a pain opening and closing it. Food was good and price was fair."

"Beautiful new hotel (c.2021) with ocean views. The hotel is on a small peninsula so effectively sea-facing on three sides. The lobby has real wow-factor with panoramic ocean view. Rooms are large and nicely furnished. Extra pillows in the closet, good availability of power points, easily controlled lighting. The restaurant is large and has indoor and outdoor seating. The breakfast and dinner buffets are good quality. Lunch options were limited to pizza during my stay. But the quality was good. There are two outdoor pools (plus the sea). There is a small indoor pool area. The village is small and centres around the harbour, about 300 metres from the hotel. There are 5-6 cafes / restaurants here. Parking is available on site at daily rates (at time of visit, EUR 10 uncovered or EUR 15 covered). Alternatively, a free car park is about 300 metres away."

"Fabulous villa, fabulous friendly hosts. Very peaceful location and close to the beautiful towns on the north coast. Super comfortable beds. Lovely well stocked kitchen and plenty of seating in the living room and the outdoor patio area for sunbathing and eating. Could not fault it at all! The hosts also own the olive oil museum in Skrip which is a short walk away.; honestly the best lunch we had on the island! (homemade, farm to table, locally sourced food - absolutely delicious!). We enjoyed the short tour of the museum and lunch was so good we went back a few days later. Would highly recommend and would absolutely return if we go back to beautiful Brac!"

"When we were looking to book a house for our vacation, we thought our requirements were impossible: a secluded place to enjoy family, but walkable to everything. Then we found Vacation House Šumica! This house is a 5 minute walk from everything - groceries, bakery, fishmarket, restaurants. But once you walk thru the garden door you feel like you are in a secluded getaway with olive and fruit trees, 6 different seating areas and a pool to soak in. The house itself is well equipped, with a layout that allowed each of our 3 generations to have their own floor. We loved our stay and look forward to coming back. "
