Bruno and Chantal were consummate hosts. I loved my room with its view of the garden, a decor accented with vintage radios and alarm clocks, a spacious modern bathroom and adjacent WC. A practical command of French is helpful, as the coversations surrounding breakfast, cocktail ( choice of aperitif, beer and wine) and dinner (not included, but highly recommended as Chantal is an excellent cook. What a wonderful place! This chateau has been lovingly restored back to its former glory by the current owners with modern elements and artwork incorporated. We had one of the largest rooms in the house and could only marvel at the details the owners had thought of in the restoration. The room was extremely comfortable lacking nothing. Nous sommes restes au clos Mirabel et ce fut une excellente surprise. L’endroit est bien entendu magnifique mais c’est surtout la gentillesse et le professionnalisme des hôtes (Rachel et sa famille) et la qualité des prestations qui nous ont enchantées (superbe maison, et Rachel est une excellente cuisinière qui a pu nous faire un excellent repas sans que nous ayons prévenus). Ce fut une parenthèse très douce et agréable pour nous et nos deux enfants.
