"The property was fine, more targeted at longer term stays. A bit tired but clean enough. Felt safe enough for me on my own, shower was hot, didn't notice too much road noise. Overall it was fine for a place to sleep in an otherwise extortionate city! Very handy for train and tram."

"It was a terrible experience from start to finish. The flat reeked of smoke, communication with the host was awful, and to top it off, there were large spiders. I reported the issues to both Hotels.com and the host, but the experience was beyond disappointing. Would not recommend."

"As expected, except:Kitchen window towards the entrance can’t be used as people smoke/vape there and it smells up the apartment.Apartment still damp (even with windows open) as heat is turned off.Mentioned about the heat during the first stay, nada response. Complained about shower drain not doing so well. Nada response.On the bright side, no more ant graveyard. However, not sure if those and poison things are still legal in Germany! "A great option for a family stay in Basel. We were travelling from the UK. Could sleep up to 6 comfortably but only one bedroom - with two double beds. Living room had 3 sofa beds - instructions provided to allow them to be flattened. Apartment was clean. Helpful touches were the two Swiss electrical adapters for the Swiss sunken style power outlets (normal round European adapters don’t fit!) as well as a kettle and toaster. "The flat was pretty good very clean very modern. Location is not great but the bus stop is in front of and with the basil card you don't pay for the transport so it was not a problem in the end. I would highly recommend. Very organised "
