The breakfast was amazing!

My wife and I first visited Grand Hotel Dino several years ago on a tour, and the beautiful images remained with us. We decided to return this July and it was everything we remembered and much more. The hotel is spectacular and the scenery is as well. Hopefully on our next trip up north we will bring our entire family including our grandchildren. We know that they, too, will just love it.

Phenomenal. Incredible architecturally significant property with top-quality gourmet restaurant offering mind blowing tasting menu. Staff is absolutely the best it can be. Best service and food there is. Must see and experience to believe.

This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.

Grand Hotel des Lles Borromees is a wonderfully elegant hotel set lakeside with beautiful grounds and gardens. My wife and I extended our stay from 3 to 5 nights - expensive, but well worth it. Very nice hotel on the Lago Maggiore in Verbania! Staff was super kind to find the right room for my mother that is 82 and has mobility issues ! The area is very nice calm with many restaurants and cafe around . Great location of the hotel and from there you can also take the little ferries to visit all the Lake’s Town and little islands !

We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. Be careful staying at the Regina Palace - you may be overwhelmed as there is style everywhere you look. Older building, not too large by modern standards, nice elegant rooms. Just beautiful downstairs areas. Large breakfast room with terrace overlooking the lawns and one main restaurant. Access to Spa and indoor pool included. Outdoor pool among the gardens. One day a guest's 1960 Ferrari parked out the back with the top down - just like that ! One night tango dancing on the hotel...

First and foremost the air conditioning in the room was amazing for an American!!!! Not your typical European AC. Also there was a mini fridge in the room. Breakfast was plentiful as an European breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. I would love to stay here again. We had a double bed and plenty of spacious room for each of us within the room. We even had a little balcony.

The rooms are nice and clean. However, if you have room that face the street, it is very noisy starting at 5:30am. It well insulated if you sleep with the windows closed. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff.

We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

We booked the day before and made a mistake entering our email info, so we never received the welcome info. When we arrived we were able to reach help and they very quickly got us the info and got us in. The space was very clean and modern and the location was great. We only stayed a night but we would definitely come back and stay again. Excellent option if you’re looking in Stresa.
