"The Sea Gem was very clean, beds were comfortable and furnishings in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped. As far as location goes, it was excellent, right by the ocean with access to the beach. It is obvious that a lot of thought has been put into this property to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We will definitely stay here if we are in the Newport area again. The host was very responsive to any questions we had and replied very quickly. Great place & great experience!"

"Beach access via installed steps down the hillside, but if the weather turns, theres lots to do indoors (ping pong, air hockey, pool table, darts, big screen)"

"Stunning! This house was amazing! Before we even entered, my family was remarking on how beautiful the property was. The house had everything we needed, which was a huge bonus as we have been in larger homes with less amenities. The kitchen was well stocked. The bedrooms were beautiful and the beds were amazing. Everyone commented about how comfortable the beds were multiple times. We've never slept so well in a rental. There are 3 master bedroom suites in the home as well as a children's room. There were plenty of places for us to gather but also separate and have our own spaces as needed. The outdoor area was perfect! The decks were amazing with hot tub, propane heaters, fire ring and plenty of seating. I wish we could have used the area more as it was raining and windy our entire stay. The upstairs seating area by the fireplace was our favorite to view the ocean and congregate. The only difficult part of our trip was the walk to the ocean. I only mention it because we had small children and it was a little risky to run across 101 with them. There is limited view coming from both sides of the road and those cars are flying so we were running across every time we came or went to the ocean. Just something to be aware of but certainly not a deterrent from leasing the property. The location on the coast was perfect! We love the Depot Bay, Newport, Waldport, and Yachats areas! Seal Rock is one of our favorite beaches and we love visiting the lighthouses in the area."
