"What an absolute little find. Right opposite the north pier right on the sea front. This lovely little hotel has a lift to every floor of his breakfast large rooms. They're all reasonably basic but spotlessly clean and the location is amazing. Staff are friendly and welcoming. I really enjoyed my stay and I will be definitely be going back. "

"1st time at the Ruskin, stayed three nights bed and breakfast, absolutely delighted, most definitely will be back. the staff were brilliant, friendly. polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, our room was spotless (as was the hotel in general),the bar service was spot on with a great choice of drinks and food, the entertainment every night in the cabaret lounge was really good, all in all a great weekend."

"Check in was very efficient . The corridors smelt of wacky backy! The rooms were ok. Breakfast was ok the bacon was overdone but everything else was nice. ok stay for what we wanted it for."

"We had a terrible stay, 3beds in the room,had to climb over each other to get to toilet in the night.we had no cleaner for the 4days we were there.furniture falling apart,no beds made no bin emptied,1 electrical socket in room,kettle had to be plugged in on floor for safety.a horrible view of an alley I think it was.continual banging throughout the night.was. No fraught beer on sale,only supposed to have a double bed,not 3,no chair to sit on,rubbish in drawers"
