"Elite Hotel Martenson is situated in old town Halmstad and walkable from the train station. The central location provides easy access to restaurants, parks, cultural events, public facilities and a short bicycle ride to a beautiful beach. The hotel itself was very quaint, well maintained and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The restaurants on site provided another excellent amenity. Although we did not get a chance to use the gym it was probably one of the best equipped we’ve seen"

"Absolutely perfect little hotel. Very unusual ( in a good way ) feels like the right kind of place for this wonderful little town. Staff is wonderful , breakfast almost unrivaled. Feels like one of the wonderfully old school bed and breakfast places you probably read about. Cheers !"

"Avoid this place. A former motel that’s fallen on hard times, it’s cheap for a reason. I didn’t manage an hour before picking up on the weird vibes, non-customers roaming the corridors and strange noises all around. I am sure this was a decent hotel once upon a time, but has been left to a state of social non-repair now. "
