This unit was equal to a very low rent hotel.
First off-everything else could be overlooked BUT-this unit was very dirty-not just from the previous tenants but from constant neglect of a the housekeeping staff.
The furnishings were mismatched and appeared to have been acquired from a garage sale. The bathrooms were dated, had hair from previous renters all over. The mirror had white tape covering where the backing had come off. The air condition didn’t work well in the front bedroom or bath.
In addition to the the fact that the unit wasn’t clean, you MUST PAY ATTENTION the fact that you have to go UP AND DOWN 10 STEPS to get your stuff in the unit-NO RAMP, NO ELEVATOR, just have carry everything you bring up the stairs and through a very heavy door - so don’t plan on bringing too much stuff, or buy groceries because you will wear yourself out getting the stuff into the unit.
AND...don’t plan on cooking there because the pots/pans, and utensils also came from the same garage sale as the furnishings. The kitchen was VERY sparsely equipped and everything was mismatched.
ALSO, better bring lots of clothes because the washer/dryer combo doesn’t work well -sounds like it’s going to croak any minute, and the dryer took at least two full cycles to dry a SMALL LOAD.
AND IF that isn’t enough, the balcony furnishings were a JOKE! And came from someone’s dumpster - three very old worn out hard plastic chairs and a stained and worn out table-that was it. The balcony overlooks the pool, common area and walkway to the beach-NO PRIVACY, AND VERY NOISY when about 50 ppl decide to have a party right under you.
This was THE WORST condo unit-for the MOST EXPENSIVE PRICE I have ever paid in Orange Beach. I know I would have to pay more being that it was a holiday weekend, but this was price gouging at its finest-Brett Robinson should be ASHAMED to have rented this unit for $600+ per night PLUS A CLEANING FEE-when it wasn’t CLEAN and was such an awful unit-we left a night early because we just couldn’t take it any more. I won’t be renting from Brett Robinson ever again.
Think twice before renting this unit-it’s awful!!
