Historically, this property has been reserved for family use, and we are now excited to extend the opportunity for guests to enjoy our well-loved corner-style unit. With 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, this condo offers a stunning view that takes advantage of the south/southeast positioning of the complex. We're thrilled to share this condo, having entrusted Poole and Associates to manage your reservations and entire stay. We eagerly anticipate hearing about your experience and hope you'll enjoy your time here as much as we have.
For the Winter Season (January and February), reservations made before October 1st require a minimum stay of 60 days, subject to management cancellation if this criterion isn't met. After October 1st, reservations are available for the winter months with varying minimum stays of three or seven nights, depending on unit specifications.
Professionally managed by Poole & Associates, additional information and services are handled on-site by the association, including parking passes for which charges apply. The reservation provides a 'starter set' of essential items; however, guests are advised to bring their own beach towels.

We had a great time.. the condo was very clean and exactly what we wanted. The beds were not a standard queen bed, more closer to a full size bed but we made it work for the time we was there.. we would definitely stay here again..
Great place to stay - Check-in/out procedures are a hassle
We had a great time staying here. Everything was clean, well kept, and the room was conveniently located. The only thing that keeps this from being a 5 star stay is having to pay for parking once we got there instead of including it in the rate. We had to pay for 2 vehicles which cost about $100 extra when you get there. The other issue is the booking and check-in/out procedures. You get a string of emails from Poole (the agent) asking for photo id, download an app to upload your id, agreeing to extra terms apart from VRBO, etc. It felt really intrusive and overboard. The other thing that was bothersome was having to go to the agent's office that was 9 miles away from Phoenix VII to pick up and drop off keys. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Family vacation
This was our second time at Orange Beach and it was a little disappointing from last year. The condo was roomy and clean. However the ice maker didn't work at all so we ended up having to buy like 5 bags of ice for the week. The check in/check out process was a headache. Even though our condo was in Orange Beach, we had to drive to gulf shores to check in & get the keys. Once we arrived at the condo to get a parking tag, we were told that we had to pay for it which was never mentioned prior to booking. When it was time to check out, we had to take the keys back to the office in gulf shores. Also, wherever we have stayed on vacation, most of the grills are gas but not here. So we had to go out & get charcoal for the dinner that we were grilling. Vacation is about relaxing not having to run here or there for keys, ice, or charcoal & paying to park where you stay.
Big picture: This CLEAN, beautiful condo with stunning view is just like it looks & is described! The white sandy beach was wonderful for walking! Reading reviews ahead of time helped us have realistic expectations.
Details: Check-in is inconvenient b/c of having to pick up & drop off keys 20 min away (longer if traffic bad), but Poole & Assoc were easy to work with! I saw on review ice maker was broken, but freezer had ice trays - not a big deal. I read that there is a lot of pool noise since unit is straight up from pool (12 floors); it WAS noisy, but I could still hear the waves. And location also meant conveniently straight off elevator. Water pressure wasn’t great, but it usually isn’t when there are multiple residences in same building. Mattresses are firm. (I loved it, husband did not.Young adult kids didn’t care.) We bring our own pillows. Kitchen had plenty of dishes & cookware. (Oven browns faster on bottom of bread than top.) No liquid measuring cup. One review said not enough glasses or cups (?) but there is plenty of everything now.
Unit has variety of games & books; lobby has more books & puzzles.
Phoenix VII has 4 elevators (all in 1 spot), usually not long wait. Common check-in time they’re all BUSY with a bit of a wait, but people were thoughtful of each other so no big deal.
We LOVED staying here! I understand why owners don’t supply beach chairs & umbrellas, but that’s only amenity we missed here that we often find elsewhere. GREAT STAY!!
The unit is lovely with gorgeous views of both the beach and pools. The complex has plenty of amenities for everyone without leaving if you didn’t want to. Poole was easy to work with and unit was reasonably priced.
Not a bad place. Kinda upset had to drive 15-20mins away to beable to check in. Master bed room only had a sheet on the bed.Listing didnt say anything about having to pay for parking so that was an extra 60 bucks. In side pool needs work. Not a bad place but extra expenses of any kind sould be included in listing.
Three co-workers and I shared this condo as we attended a conference at Perdido Beach Resort. The location was fantastic and the condo was exactly as pictured.
I loved the location, the decor and the balcony views. Beds weren’t comfortable though, and there was no glassware. Just a few coffee mugs and plastic cups. Overall we had a fantastic vacation!
When we got to the room it was not clean. It completely threw off our plans for the night. We had to leave the condo and find something to do. We had to cancel our plans for the evening because we did not have time to get ready.
Nice space, large bedrooms, wonderful view and amenities. Mattresses were a bit squeaky but that was the only issue we had. Easy access to the beach and the indoor and outdoor pools were very nice. Facility was well maintained and parking was easy, but we had to pay for a parking pass when we got there. Could have been a bit cleaner as we had to sweep the floors that had sand, but it is the beach and this is somewhat expected I guess.

The condo was clean and mostly as described, except the bed in the master is a full size - not a queen or a king … a full. The other bedroom is a full size bed also. So, the condo has two full beds and two twin beds. Other than that, it was a little dated, but everything was in working order. You have to drive 20 minutes from the condo to get the keys at check in, and drop them back off at check out. That was super inconvenient after traveling all day, but the staff was nice and quickly got us checked in. Seems like a code lock would be a better option for guests.I would not stay here again without an option for a larger bed than a full size, and having to drive 20 minutes to check in.
My only complaint is the fact that you have to pick up and return the condo key in Gulf Shores instead of at the property. I don’t remember this being clearly stated until after I had booked. Seems like a coded lock would fix this. Also, other family members who were there with us in other condos had parking passes that were included with their condo--this one does not.

Great Location, Needs Updating
The complex itself is great and is one that my family has stayed at multiple times over the years. This unit has potential to be great, but needs some updating. The unit does not have a code to get into, so you have to pick up a physical key from the property manager's office which is a couple miles from the unit itself. There were 2 keys, but 6 people sharing the unit so a keypad would have been much easier for the group. There were also several small things that needed to be fixed - the worst was the faucet in the bathtub that almost came off the wall when turning the shower on. Ultimately, it was an okay unit, but some simple upgrades would go a long way here.
First thing to surprise me was to go to the traffic street to pickup a key for the property. For so many years of renting we were just receiving a code to open the door. to go straight to the property we could safe 1 hour that we spent in traffic. No coffeemakers were working and never replaced, (i did call to the management) no teapot provided. overall it was a good property and we go every year, sometimes twice during summer and MAY rent from you again. By the way, to go to drop a key at 4 am (when we were leaving) was also not very convenient.

Nice condo needing some minor changes
There were lots of good things about this condo. It was freshly decorated, the living room and patio are nicely sized, and the kitchen has great appliances. The check in process is outdated. There is no need to go somewhere off site to check in as this can be done online now. Having actual keys is a pain when going to the beach. A keypad on the door is much preferred and modern. The dryer door was broken. This was noted in a July review and said to be worked on then. Still broken in October. We called for service and it was rigged which lasted about 5min. A part was needed to be ordered- should’ve been done in July. The sink in the
Master held water for an hour. They came and remedied this but a cleaning person should’ve found this issue if the sink was cleaned. Also the maintenance man left the cleaned out clog of hair in our bathroom trash can- EW! The bedrooms desperately need black out shades. Lastly, the picture of the master bedroom
Is horribly misleading. The bed is a full only and really looks much bigger in pic. Needs to be replaced with king.
This was the perfect layout for our family. The kids had their own room separate from the main living area. We loved the pools and very short walk across the bridge to the ocean. Convenient to all orange beach activities and gulf shores
Property was just okay. We’ve stayed in a Phoenix unit multiple times in the past with all better experiences in same price range.
Pros:
- Views were great
- Housekeeping was clean
- Property Mgmt Group was responsive
Cons:
- master mattress terrible. No thicker than a crib mattress.
- shower curtains full of mildew (they replaced)
- master bedding had blood stains. Backup bedding in closet had stains too (they did not replace)
- master shower caulking full of mold
- Had to drive to Gulf Shores to get and drop off the key.

Beautiful Condo
Beautiful Condo and absolutely the perfect location. We enjoyed the beach, pools, and condo. You might need to bring your own cooking pans.
This property was beautifully furnished in a calm, relaxing, beachy decor. The furniture was so comfortable for our family....I wanted to bring that wide-wale corduroy couch home with me! The kitchen had most everything we needed, but to be honest...we ate out most of the time. Loved the easy access to the central elevators. If I had to change anything, I'd say to add black-out window coverings on the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms to block out the exterior hallway lights. We loved our time here!
