Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay. Perfect location. Beautiful view. Peaceful and Restful. Easy access to the beach. Clean inside and out. I think some people made too big of a deal over the mold in the bathroom. There was a small area on the ceiling, but no big deal. It was clean overall, and the caretakers were very kind about my forgetting to text until late in the day that we had locked the door and checked out early that morning. Very polite owner as well. We would love to go back there someday.

Overall a great vacation

Renting the property and staying in contact with managers was very easy. Was a little disappointed in the cleanliness. Shower curtain was molded and ice maker only made enough ice for couple of drinks a day. Nice view from balcony and spacious.

Alright with understanding

Good facility, though dated. Room and building are really showing their age... Things a fresh coat of teal paint can't cover. We didn't spend much time in th room other than when we were sleeping, so it wasn't a huge deal. Coffee filters would've been a nice amenity to provide.

Quick beach trip

This was perfect for our family of 5. Two girls in bunk beds and the master has a perfect spot for the baby's travel crib. Right on the beach. Close proximity to shops, restaurants, and right across the street from two arcades and go-carts. There were some mold spots on the ceiling of both bathrooms. The bedroom window is at the elevator, but it surprisingly was not that loud. I did buy hand soap for bathrooms since what appeared to be the hand washing soap said facial soap. I am very pleased with this condo, would definitely stay here again.

Perfect family vacation

The condo was exactly how it was listed online, including pictures. It’s definitely a basic condo, the view was awesome to have with coffee in the morning. We made dinners at the condo, definitely bring the basics with you such as salt/pepper. I made coffee but thankfully I brought ground coffee and coffee filters. I also brought an extra trash bag and toilet paper roll since no extra were provided. I do believe we paid way more than we should have but we did have an amazing family vacation overall. Communication with management was great and check in was the best process ever we have had! Would stay here again.

Disappointed

Very disappointed in the unit. Mostly because the patio door to the balcony was broke and I could not get it open. I paid extra to have the balcony and could get out of unit to enjoy it. I travel alone so hesitant to call and have a stranger in the unit. There were cigarettes butts on the balcony also from past renters , so much for non smoking unit. The coffee pot leaked all over the counter, not one hanger to hang clothes, the bed room rug was very dirty, the sink in the bathroom was slow to drain. Thank goodness the beach was beautiful and I could spend most of my time out of the unit. Very disappointed.

Excellent location & beautiful condo!

The size of the condo was perfect for our family of four. My kids loved the bunk beds! I also found the master bed to be comfortable; my husband prefers a softer bed so he disagreed but he still got his naps in, ha. The view of the beach from our balcony was amazing! The complex is in an excellent location, within walking distance to several restaurants, arcades, stores, etc. The condo is also right across from the elevator, so that’s convenient as well. Communication with the owner/ listing agent was great. They offered text message communication, which I found super helpful because I’m not a huge fan of making phone calls. Our parking pass was waiting for us in the condo, so that was a plus as well. However, in addition to the list of “must bring” items, I recommend bringing hand soap and/ or bars of soap (they are not provided), cleaning supplies such as disinfectant wipes, Pine Sol & a mop bucket (they are not provided & you’ll need them for spills or just to clean up the beach/ pool water on the floor), additional blankets, and family games to play in case the weather gets bad. A deck of cards is all that’s provided but we were able to get creative and play a variety of games with them. Overall, we would gladly stay in Tradewinds 503 again!

Good but Needs updates

The bedroom was the worst part of the condo. Rug was dirty and discolored. Ceiling was very stained. The lamp and night stand were old and dusty. The outlets were few and far between which makes it hard to plug in electronics. There was hammering and drills above our room the first two days well before 8 a.m. which was bad for someone with headaches. It was awful! The rest of the condo was much better. Pretty furniture and a nice patio. The door on the balcony had to be opened with a screw driver, but parts had been ordered. It was a good place to stay, just needs some better cleaning and updates. Bed was comfortable. Closet was spacious. Bathrooms were nice. The complex itself had easy access to beach via sidewalks and steps. We really liked that. Shower available for sandy feet and beach stuff. Check in was easy and security was on duty in front all the time. Plenty of carts for luggage. Close to shopping. Pool was heated and had a small area indoors. Plenty of chairs by pool. Overall a nice place to stay. Recovering from hurricane Sally in lots of areas. Communication was good via text. Thank you!

Great location

Good location. Beautiful beach view. I tried messaging the property manager a couple of times with questions and got no response. If booking a Liquid Life property please note that they only provide one trash bag and one roll of toilet paper per bathroom. No hand soap in any bathroom. One pack of dishwasher soap and one pack of detergent as well. Plan on packing or buying extra of these items. This property does not come with beach towels or beach chairs. The property overall was not a nice looking as the pictures provided. It could use some maintenance. The pool was clean and the indoor pool area is not as large as it looks in the pictures. But my daughter enjoyed it anyway. I understand mechanical items quit working at some point but during our stay there was water coming up from the floor. I tried soaking up what I could without it getting better. I notified the company and maintenance was there quickly to see that the hot water heater was leaking. The company did move us to another (nicer property) but did not provide a discount or refund for a day of no showers and waiting on a plumber to see what the problem was.

Family Friendly Condo In Need of Improvement

My wife and I arrived at the condo about a half hour before the scheduled 3 pm check-in time on our arrival day. She is currently 7 months pregnant and we both were in need of a restroom. The check-in time arrived, but we did not get any response our room was ready. I sent a message to the automated service who responded our room was ready, but was still taking longer due to COVID cleaning protocols. We waited until we finally had to leave the property to find a restroom only to finally receive a message to be able to check in. This was 45 minutes after the scheduled time. This might not be a big deal to some, but it was an inconvenience to my wife having a rough pregnancy. It would have been nice to receive a message indicating our check in would be later than scheduled. We got into our room and found it to be very clean. The shoe mounding and trim is in need of replacement, along with the bed and pillows. There is not a hair dryer provided, so if this matters to you, make sure to bring your own. I did also find it odd only one trash bag was provided in the kitchen area for the duration of our trip. I would have liked at least one extra. The biggest issue I had with the room was the electrical outlets. After our first night, the outlets got the charging blocks so hot my wife’s phone froze up completely from overheating. Anything we plugged into the outlets during our stay got extremely hot to the touch after being there for an extended period. This is after using a surge protector that I brought with us. This is something that should be addressed immediately. The outlets in the second bathroom didn’t function at all, and the only outlet in the master bedroom required the entire bed to be moved to access. The condo itself is in a great location and in close proximity to several food and recreational places. The atmosphere was extremely family friendly and welcoming. The beach access was very quick and the designated area for the condo seemed less crowded than other adjacent areas. Overall, I would stay here again, but I do feel it is in need of some updates.
