Cosy house in Orange

We had an excellent stay at the Sampson. It is a beautifully decorated home located just 10 minute walk from Orange city center and 15 minute drive from the wine region. Highly recommend this home if you are looking to escape the city and stay in a stylist yet comfortable home.

There was nothing not to like at The Sampson. Immaculately clean, charming decor and so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. The kitchen was generously stocked with lots of goodies. Eating breakfast in the garden was bliss. The beds were super comfortable with crispy linen and there was a generous supply of fluffy towels. I wish all hosts were like this.

We loved the comfortable accomodation - comfortable bed, toasty warm air con and heaters incl the heated bathroom tiles and towel racks! Tastefully decorated and friendly and helpful communication. The range of teas, chocolates and biscuits were a huge plus, as well as a short flat stroll to some nearby cafes for breakfast.

We had a wonderful time at The Sampson. It was our third time in Orange, the other occasions staying in a motel. We will definitely head back to the Sampson on our next visit. Great, professional communication before our visit. Beautifully renovated property in a perfect location. Some nice touches, all the way down to a heated bathroom floor. Highly recommended.

Perfect place to stay

The Sampson was the perfect place to spend a long weekend in Orange. It is very stylish with all the little touches to make staying in just as good as going out! Centrally located to walk to cafes/pubs/ restaurants and easy to drive out to wineries. Highly recommend.

The Sampson was a fantastic spot for our weekend in Orange! It had everything we could have needed, including a very well-equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. It was also impeccably clean. Very highly recommended - we shall be back!

We had a lovely stay at The Sampson in Orange. The location of the house was great - close to the centre but on a quiet street. The house had all the amenities you would need - and more!! Rex and Jacqui provided a lot of helpful information for our stay regarding the house and Orange. We would definitely stay there again on our next trip back to Orange

Even better than it looks in the photo's

I needed to go to Orange at short notice for a funeral. It was by chance I saw The Sampson on Wotif, I didn't even pay too much attention, I just liked the fact due to the sad and stressful occasion my daughter and I would have some privacy. When we arrived it was cold and we had not even had time to go to a supermarket, we didn't need a thing we walked in the home was divine, the heating had been turned on we had coffees, teas, milk, chocolates etc. There is nothing I could fault about the home. They have thought of everything including the hair dryer you forgot. We will be back. Also, the best nights sleep ever.

Beautifully presented cottage near town centre

I was in Orange for a retirement dinner and I booked the cottage so that two of us could stay there. We received detailed instructions before arrival and found the heating was already on when we arrived. We walked to the Ex-services Club for dinner - it was only a few blocks. The cottage itself was beautifully presented. It has been modernised very recently and had all the facilities you would expect and more. Comfortable beds, modern bathroom with heated floor, sitting room, snacks and breakfast in the kitchen, milk in the fridge, and even a laundry if you need to use it. Couldn't fault the place.
