"Not really a cozy cabin. It was a dilapidated cabin that the jungle is slowly consuming or destroying. It felt like the two floors were going to collapse if we moved wrong. No hot water came out of the small slit in the shower head. This is more like a backpacker cabin/hostel. I was afraid of all the bugs that could come in all the holes and cracks. The manager was really nice and attentive with communication. The instructions were clear. Hospitable and had several waters and snacks...

"We stayed for a one night getaway and it was absolutely perfect! The setting is so quiet and peaceful and private. Woke up to beautiful bird sounds and parrots flying overhead. Enjoyed our coffee on the porch while it rained! Wonderful luxury down pillows and bedding and bathroom was great as well! Christelle was so kind and welcomed us in and showed us to our cabana! Wonderful setting. Highly recommend! :)"

We had the place to ourselves and the beautiful wildlife right on the river. Shanna and Kenny were wonderful and handled every aspect of our trip. The pool and bbq were fun! I would definitely stay here again. The family of Howler Monkeys with babies were my favorite part. Peaceful, serene, and in the jungle.

Chan Chich presents a unique experience to the adventurous traveler. We stayed 3 nights at this hidden gem and loved every minute. The lodge is simply gorgeous, our two bedroom cabin was perfect, the food is wonderful, wildlife, mayan history and birding tours are exceptional and the service was impeccable.

Amazing property. It was so beautiful with the courtyard with flowers and the private pool/bath and geat views. They upgraded us with no extra charge. Wish we could have stayed here longer. The price was great for a three story home away from home.

This place is awesome. It's just a couple minutes outside of the town of Orange Walk and all of the rooms overhang a beautiful little lagoon. The staff is amazing, friendly and very attentive. The restaurant and bar are covered by a beautiful huge palapa. The restaurant has great food, breakfast lunch and dinner. They cook traditional Belizean food as well as other options like steak pasta and seafood. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The showers here are high pressure and hot...

My husband and I were very happy to have picked this hotel, we have traveled a lot and the friendliness of the staff at Maruba is unsurpassed..Melonie is the best at making sure you get the best activities planned for you, Gloria and Janeele were our waitresses and were very attentive and friendly. From the moment we stepped on property we had the feeling that we had found a special place in the jungle. The facilities were great, the tours were fun, but what made the resort different from all the others was the staff. My kids laughed and joked with them the entire time. The dinner service was fantastic with a four course dinner and two dinner options available each not. We traveled to other areas in Belize after leaving Caves Branch. However, my daughter said we should have saved the...

We stayed at Chaa Creek based upon online reviews, but no amount of praise can do this place justice. Spacious and clean rooms, immaculate grounds, awesome staff, meals that we can't stop talking about (menu changes daily and everything is prepared fresh), plus activities galore. We stayed in a garden suite (reserved a cottage but upgraded?) and were most impressed by the comfort and size of the room. The pool was a great welcome home after a hot day out and about. Note: No air...

The staff at Villa Massis made us feel like family from the second we walked in! The food and drinks were wonderful. The room was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful! Joelle (spelling?) was extremely warm and helpful. He booked us a private tour to Xunantunich Mayan Ruins. Mark was our guide and the tour was incredible! Their bartender, Gio, knew exactly how to cool us off after a hot day. Lucy always had the most beautiful smile on her face. The owner (can't remember his name) was...

Let's be clear to anybody reading this, Nabitunich is not an ordinary hotel. It's a handful of duplex rooms on a farming property which is right adjacent to the jungle. There are howler monkeys that make noises throughout much of the night and the roosters will crow whenever they feel like it. The road from the main highway is about one kilometer and is bumpy and rocky. You will dodge goats and sheep as you traverse the dirt road. However, once you get there, Dominic will treat you as an honored...

We enjoyed our stay at the West House boutique Hotel. The location in San Ignacio is close to restaurants. The hotel spotless and the staff was attentive and friendly.

We had an amazing Jungle Vacation at table Rock. The property is beautifully filled with Mango and Orange trees. Toucans and other wild birds can be seen all over the lodge. The staff is extremely friendly and took care of us very well. I would recommend Table Rock to all those seeking a true jungle vacation. The town of San Ignacio is about 15 mins on dirt roads. Use Jasmine shuttle that swings by every 30 mins for $5 per person. Taxi will cost you $25/person.

We had an amazing stay at the Rainforest Retreat. Theodocios, our assistant at the Rainforest Retreat was an excellent guide and his wife, Francelia cooked delicious breakfast and dinner that was included with our stay. She also does laundry. We stayed one night there in the Eco-Pods and the 2nd night at the Chaa Creek Lodge. Docios shuttled us back and forth and provided excellent guidance.
