"The staff was friendly when we arrived for valet parking and check-in. Lobby was bright, clean and very comfortable and we love it immediately. The complementary water and snack station was very thoughtful, and of course the room was l well kept. Location was great - near all the shops and restaurants, as well as the campus. Our family of four thoroughly enjoy our stay at Six South Street and would highly recommend it to anyone that comes to Hanover/Dartmouth!"

"This is a lovely old-fashioned, well-maintained, character hotel, which is perfectly situated in the old town, and near the beautiful hiking trails, rivers and lakes. Our room was spacious, with a good comfortable bed, air conditioning, a modernised bathroom, and it was spotlessly clean. The staff were lovely, really helpful, and the breakfast was freshly cooked. It's not luxurious, but it's really great value, and I would choose it any time."

"This was our second stay, already looking forward to our return. It’s a beautiful New England inn with lovely rooms that are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious - have to try everything! We also love walking around the area. We have only visited in the summer but hope to return in the winter."

"Had a great one night stay! We were only in town for a night, but the room was immaculate! It was clean and so cozy looking when I opened the door. The ac was already on when we got into the room so it was perfect to walk into on such a humid day. The pool was clean and there was plenty of seating around it. The grounds were clean and well maintained. My kids loved it and didn’t want to leave! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely stay here."

"I had help checking in at 1 am which can be impossible at small inns like this. The room was great and had an awesome view of the river out back. It was easy to check in and out. We had continental breakfast in the morning. It was great except that the waffle mix ran out, but we got there less than a half an hr before breakfast was over so that was probably why. The only other thing I didnt like so much was the suttle smell inside the room. They could definitely use some air fresheners to keep it smelling better."
