"Excellent hosts, fantastic communication throughout our stay and a very nice welcome and introduction to the house. There is a folder with all the information needed for the house and the surrounding area. We loved going into Orgiva for bread, veggies/fruit, wine, etc (the daily market is awesome!). The bed is super comfortable, kitchen is well equipped (we often cooked at "home"), views are peaceful, lovely and relaxing pool, and we had loads of privacy.

"We stayed a month in the cave house cortijo, a beautiful place, very relaxing, comfortable traditional dwelling in a a little piece of Eden, fruit trees, bird song and mountain views. Nice river side walks and quiet back lane for a 20 minute walk into the centre of Orgiva which is a great town full of character and characters. Oliver & Maria are the perfect hosts, hopefully we will get the chance to return one day. "

"Everything about this place was great. The location is lovely and the views are spectacular. The apartment is really spacious, comfortable and clean, with big bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, a full kitchen and a lovely big private balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.

"The property is a little quirky with tricky stairs but it is very clean and well fitted with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighbours are very nice and friendly as well. The property as ideal for our 10 day stay & Mark was very nice and nothing was too much trouble :)"

"We got such a warm welcome from Antonio and his wonderful family. They were the perfect hosts and made us feel very at home. There are a lot of nice villas with pools but this place is more than just nice nice, it has the wow factor!. If you want peace and quiet in a tranquil setting this is the place to be. "We truly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is a stunning replica of the Alhambra Palace, and the rooms were beautiful. I especially loved the luxurious touch of Elie Saab shampoo, shower gel, and lotion — very fancy!
The staff were warm and friendly, and the food was excellent. It was my mom’s birthday during our stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful gesture of a box of chocolates left in her room. However, it would have been even more special if there had been a note saying “Happy Birthday,” so she knew it was a gift from the Alhambra Hotel.
The location is right next to the Alhambra Palace, but it's a bit away from the downtown area where most of the activity happens. However, Uber is reasonably priced and has been our go-to for getting around.
Overall, a lovely experience, and we would gladly return!"
