"My dog, Moon, and I had a wonderful, peaceful time at this rental this summer! This cabin is well-designed in a compact, very comfortable space. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking meals and the dining table has a wonderful view of Dark Cove. It was warm enough while I was there to eat breakfast and lunch out on the lakeside deck. We used the air conditioning when it became too hot. The bathroom shower is a full tub-sized shower, which is unusually spacious for a northern Maine camp! One day, I took a relaxing paddle around the island in one of the kayaks provided. My favorite part of our stay, however, was the neighborhood loon, who came by at least once a day to fish out front and occasionally serenade with a familiar loon yodel! I would highly recommend this rental. It is attached to a large family house behind it, but there was no one there during the time I rented, so it was very quiet."

"Recently updated the property is beautiful on the inside. The view of the lake from the front deck is beautiful. The property was super clean and stocked with some items to get your stay jump started. We were all very comfortable. Just 10 minutes to town there is access to everything and we took many trips to the town square to enjoy great meals, shops and attractions. Of course several trips to the lake was a highlight for us all. "

"This is such a nice little camp for a family vacation. The lake is so peaceful and great for swimming with young kids. There is lots to explore kayaking and some very friendly loons out on the water! The cell service can be pretty spotty but the Wi-Fi works great. Really enjoyed being in a spot that felt so private yet still close to town for groceries and restaurants. This was the third time our family stayed here and second time bringing our dog. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back! "
