This place is in need of some maintenance.
Check in is at 4. We got there at 5:30 and the cleaning lady and her son was still there cleaning. At first they didn’t want us to come in, but then we said, we were going to sit by the pool. They finished around 6:30. The next day we called about some issues with the house. The kitchen sink was leaking, 1 toilet was stopped up. The front door mechanism wasn’t working properly. Maintenance came out and fixed the first 2 things that day. The following day, we went to one of the parks. When we came back around 6 the front door was wide open. The latch to the door was now missing and no one locked up the house with all of our belongings inside. We had no access to the internet. They gave 4 different passwords to use and none of them worked. Luckily my son in law had a laptop with his own connection though his work, so I was able to check in and get our boarding passes. The pool was vey dirty and green slime in it. The pool guy came and cleaned it. The screen to the pool is broken and dead leaves were all in the pool and pool area. We found broken glass out buy the pool sitting area. And we had a toddler with us. We were there a week and the out last day there we woke up to the ceiling leaking in 2 spots from the rain that moved in. I’m just glad I heard it dripping and was able to place some towels in the hallway and stairway and warn everyone so, they didn’t fall down the very steep staircase. We made the best of it. But, for that kind of money those things shouldn’t be neglected. I have Never had to call and tell owners their property has a some serious issues and I’ve stayed in a lot of condos, houses, and cabins.
