Urban Hive Milano

"I can’t praise this hotel enough. Everything was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious and had every amenity we could desire. It even had a yoga mat and weights cleverly stored under the TV. We had an accessible room which I didn’t book but any other time we’ve had one, it’s resulted in a flooded floor - this is not the case at this hotel. I think this is an indication of how well thought out the rooms are. Reusable bottles were supplied where you could refill at a filtered water station. If you need an iron, just ask at reception. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They speak English perfectly. The location is great with a Metro line about 50 metres away. Lots of fabulous restaurants in the vicinity. It’s just one of those places that you are sad to leave. Very very happy to recommend."

"Room was modern and well equipped albeit the shower area was closed off (sealed when glass door was shut), leading to strong musky and mildewy smell in the shower. Location was great. Staff were average - not super helpful but quite professional. All in all convenient place for a short stay in Milan."

"I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Although it keeps an air of an old grand dame of the 1950s (decor), it has very contemporary touches (A/C, ceiling fan, complimentary bathrobes and slippers, kettle) and is very clean. The breakfast is generous and varied. The staff are all multilingual, very kind and helpful. Finally, the hotel is conveniently located just a block and a half from Milano Centrale train station. I completely recommend it."

"The only observation was that our delux twin room was nothing like the picture, which showed spacious, large room. We could only just squeeze down the side of the beds and wall. But as we were only there 5 nights we managed."
