"We loved it. We wanted a peaceful getaway and that was prime. Located 40 min from San Juan immerse yourself in the hills of Puerto Rico . The property is clean and well maintained. It is very peaceful and you’ll wake up everyday with the sound of birds surrounding you. Few things: - the pool is the jewel of the property in my opinion. "Relaxing and just a short minute walk to the ocean. Friendly neighborhood and met people from all over. Sunsets amazing. Beach was swimmable all the time, nightlife was lively with people of all ages. Grocery store, bakery, food trucks within walking distance made it hard to leave. "Me and my friends booked this literally a day before our trip to San Juan , which was very convenient. Although this place was like 25 mins away from San Juan ubers to San Juan and further places were only like $11-$20 so that wasnt a big issue. Three days into our visit the house started to smell like mold. Other then that everything about this house was good. If you are looking to stay close to San Juan this is NOT the place. Like the listing says, it's definitely not a place for people who aren't okay with the great outdoors, but if quiet, rustic cabins in the jungle are your thing then this place is perfect. Absolutely loved our night here, it was so quiet and peaceful with incredible views in every direction. The house had enough space, was clean and the Lourdes was very helpful. You will need to rent a vehicle to get around the island and use Google translate if you do not speak Spanish.
