Great place on a lovely lake. Able to sit on the deck and listen to loons calling. Home was clean with just the right amount of amenities. 40 min away from Itasca State Park made it very convenient.

Weekend stay

We had a relaxing, fun stay at this quiet, comfortable cabin. It has a good view of the lake and the large kitchen island was great. Newer appliances & a wonderful air conditioning unit. The lower level was being remodeled so we did not use that space. Would stay here again.

Vacation

Very nice cabin on a smaller lake and quiet lake. Good panfish fishing, especially for crappies in the morning and evening. Lots of loons, eagles, and other wildlife. Two fawns in the yard during our stay.

Great Getaway!

My husband and I had an amazing time here. We even managed to get our small 14” boat tied in the dock and did some fishing throughout the week! The cabin was quiet, clean, and we were very appreciative of the AC and washer/dryer! Hope to come back next year. 10/10

Beautiful quiet vacation spot

Love how quiet and private this spot is, beautiful property with a lake view! The house is really nice, love the openness of the kitchen and living room. Love the back patio to sit on and see all the wildlife. Only “negative” was our check in time was 4pm and didn’t get a message with check in info until 4:30pm, but that didn’t effect our plans at all.

Very nice accommodations and met our needs for a relaxing weekend. Weather was kind to us. Not a beach type destination, but beautiful views. Went exploring to see the resort at far north end of lake and it was closed up for the season. Owner was just driving out of the gate and was a bit brash when we inquired about the place saying they are booked up all the time and didn't offer us any other information. Keep in mind, we are a couple middle aged women and exploring options for the future to stay, swim and kayak. At least the cabin we stayed at was a very welcoming experience.

Cabin Weekend Stay

Relaxing, clean, and comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking our own meals. Great location and close to Park Rapids with grocery stores and gas. Enjoyed the wildlife and peaceful setting.

Great stay!

Overall are stay was amazing. The outside was mowed but lots of cobwebs and the front of the house wasn’t advertise and the toilet handle stopped working. Overall it was very affordable and worked great for what we needed!

Yes, this is the 3rd time we have stayed at this house in the summer. Relaxing, quiet and lots of wildlife. Always a great time. Everything we needed was there.

We had a great time at the cabin, with great weather. Headed into Park Rapids one day, neat little brewery and restaurant with delicious food! Excited to see the cabin again next year, with a finished basement!

Wonderfully Relaxing Stay

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. The last time was about 2 years ago. The owners added a better summer heating & cooling unit. Normally you would think we would have needed the air conditioning, but needed the heat instead. Really enjoyed our stay and will come here again.

We came up from Minneapolis to relax and to do a little exploring. This space was good for our needs with easy check-in and the living space stocked with useful extras like paper towels, nightlights in bedrooms and bathroom, and hand/body soap in both the bathroom and kitchen. (The host could add a small lamp in each of the bedrooms and perhaps a floor lamp in the living room area and that would make it even more appealing.) The description of what kind of lake access there was (basically none) could also be more clear for those interested in that. We did enjoy the view from the deck and yard and access to the lovely fire pit. All in all it was a good experience and I would recommend it for a small, adult family.

Wonderfully remodeled inside. Very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Outside has great views of the lake, set in a wonderful forest full of wildlife. Very private and quiet. Loons, ducks, bald eagles, deer and wild turkeys.

Great space!!

Ice fishing weekend with friends and tje space was perfect! No lake access from cabin due to a natural spring but guys went to boat landing on other side.... cabin is fantastic.... bedrooms could use a lamp but not a big deal at all ... cozy space ...close to Cross country ski trails..not far from Itaska park or Park Ralids ... snowmobile trail just across road ..
