It’s very friendly here and it’s a very special place, full of character and history. The food has always been consistently good as has the service and cleanliness. Also super that they have a tiny golf course, tortoise and tennis courts which you can use and the outdoor pool is lovely in the summer "

"We arrived earlier than the 3pm check in time, but the staff worked hard to allow us into the room early. Upon return to our room after dinner, there was a terrible smell in the bathroom (as the extractor was blowing air in!), however Darrell noted the issue carefully for their maintenance team and moved us to another room immediately. Great service"

"It’s very nice, if you can find it. On Sunday there are no buses into Poundbury so you have to walk through the development. There’s minimal signage and few people around to get directions. The B&B itself is quite nice and my room,#8, was quiet with a view for miles over the countryside. Ideal location to catch the local bus to Lyme Regis."

Abby greeted us and gave us lots of suggestions about where to visit and places to eat, not really necessary as the food there was absolutely first class.
