"Clean, friendly, good aircon and great location. Highly recommend this hotel. Only negative was breakfast, (which was lovely and served in a nearby bakery) but hotels.com charged £12.50 each when had we not booked it in advance it would have only been €8 to order at reception…! Take the bus to Besalu and Banyoles lake for a nice day out."

"The hotel was amazing from start to finish. When we arrived at the airport the hotel sent a curtesy minibus to pick us up . We'd already booked in online so when we arrived we were in our room within minutes. The room was very clean and comfortable and the air con was great . The spa area and the outdoor swimming pool were very well maintained and enjoyable to use . We had breakfast a couple of times during our stay and that kept us full until mid afternoon, the menu for the evening meal was a little limited so we only ate there a couple of times . The bus to Girona stops right outside the hotel but doesn't take cards only cash . The staff were superb throughout our stay ."

"The Hotel was very nice and situated in the heart of the town. The property was well landscaped with many features. The spa was beautiful and very relaxing. The staff were helpful, especially Martha. She made the stay and extended stays easy. Great customer support. The dinning facilities were also excellent with great food. "The hotel felt more like a 3-star property than a 4-star. On arrival, check-in was quick and efficient, which was a positive start. However, the room fell well below expectations. The bedroom floor was dirty and covered in hair, and the bathroom was in a poor state, with grime around the bath and stained walls. There were also numerous silverfish in the bedroom, which was completely unacceptable. The room lacked basic amenities such as a kettle or any facilities for making tea or coffee, which was disappointing for a hotel of this supposed standard. On the second day, I had to queue for over 30 minutes just to get a key card that wasn’t working. During my four-day stay, there appeared to be only one staff member at reception, which significantly impacted the level of customer service. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for a 4-star hotel."
