The style and furnishings of the property tell stories of a bygone era, which you can appreciate through portraits and historical photos of rural life of the past, all while enjoying every comfort needed to make your stay truly unique and pleasant.<br>There is a spacious kitchen with a bright and airy dining room where you can enjoy a hearty breakfast provided by the house or perhaps cook a delicious lunch or a sumptuous dinner—and why not use the organic, locally sourced produce grown in thefamily garden and paired with an artisanal white or red wine made by Angelo and Filomena.<br>There are two bedrooms—one with a double bed and one with twin beds—and you can experience the thrill of sleeping in a trullo built by a master trullo builder, Giuseppe, known throughout the valley, who constructed this complex of trulli and lamie in the last century.<br>A spacious and comfortable bathroom equipped with a washing machine is available to guests and accessible from the master bedroom.<br>Another highlight of the property is the outdoor area, perfect for both you and your children: completely surrounded by nature, with a spacious pebble garden and a newly renovated lawn that also features a small fountain; and for those who’d like to enjoy a well-deserved afternoon nap in the shade of a centuries-old chestnut tree, all you have to do is take advantage of it. Right by the entrance, there’s also a lit gazebo where you can dine al fresco in the evening or enjoy a game of burraco or other board games in complete relaxation.<br>The property is located right next to the historic Apulian Aqueduct Bike Trail. The Apulian Aqueduct Bike Path is a 500-km cycling and hiking trail that connects some of the most fascinating and still underappreciated places on the peninsula, culminating in Santa Maria di Leuca with a monumental waterfall into the sea.<br>In the fall, the so-called “vendemmia”—the harvest, carried out strictly by hand—takes place for young and old alike, involving the picking of ripe grape clusters for the production of white and red wines.
