The property is beautiful. The room was very large and the decor was excellent. This is a boutique type of hotel. The staff were nice, the pool area was excellent as well. Location was good - about a 15 minute drive from the centre of Ostuni.

Masseria Santo Scalone was absolutely beautiful. The grounds are stunning and every corner of the property feels so thoughtfully designed and aesthetically beautiful. The food was incredible as well — everything we had was fresh and delicious, and the entire experience felt so special. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy Puglia, and I’m already thinking about when I can come back. Truly such a beautiful stay and one I would absolutely recommend!

Highly recommended for family stays

A very enjoyable stay. Excellent facilities, good locations, very comfortable room and delicious breakfast. The dinner menu could be expanded perhaps, to cater for different tastes and children, but this is a small point. Highly recommended.

Such a lovely, restorative place. The whole place is beautiful, the bed so comfortable, the breakfast delicious! My favourite accomodation during my month in Italy. I felt replenished after my 3 nights. I wish I could have stayed longer. Just a short drive to Ostuni which has many great restaurants. This Masseria would be an amazing place for a dream wedding!

We expected a great stay but left disappointed. The property is beautiful and the food fantastic, but the AC in our unit was broken. Staff assured us it would be fixed but gave no updates until we asked. After asking, they moved us for the first night only, as all rooms were booked the second night. When we returned to our original room, we requested a fan, which they provided—but it fell short of the luxury experience we expected. We shared our disappointment, and while they offered a complimentary bottle of wine at dinner, it felt more like a reaction than a genuine gesture. For such a nice property, the service felt reactive rather than proactive.

This was a wonderful surprise in our two week trip traveling the south of Italy. a Beautiful and well-staffed country oasis! I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy Ostuni & Puglia while having a centrally located respite for afternoons of R&R. The property was absolutely stunning, and the entire masseria felt like stepping into a magazine spread. The spaces were beautifully designed—the pool, which we didn't get to try out because it was still a bit chilly. The breakfast was nothing short of fantastic; you could order eggs and coffee, and they paid attention to the small details as you sat at the table. The service was truly lovely, making the experience all the more enjoyable.

The staff and amenities at the Masseria were absolutely amazing! They made our anniversary celebration extra special. We spent days by the pool soaking in the sights of the property. The breakfast is also perfection with fresh fruits, bacon, eggs etc.

The service and room quality and amenities were top notch. The staff are all very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is very good and the dinner menu is varied enough and good quality. The pool area is well staged and very restful. I would recommend dimming the lights in the dining room evenings for the dinner service. The sitting area/salon lighting was much appreciated.
