"I had an excellent stay at The Wheatbaker. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, with spotless bathroomswhich is always a must for me. Breakfast was lovely, offering a good selection of fruits, continental options, and African-style dishes. I especially appreciated being able to order fresh coffee in the mornings. The restaurant food was so good that I often chose to dine in the hotel most evenings. Room service is available 24 hours, and the bar is fantastic with creative cocktails and a great wine list. The location is convenient and in a nice, walkable neighborhood, making it easy to get around. Most of all, the staff were exceptional—friendly, respectful, and genuinely welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable."

"Love the hotel. But they decided to do some work at night and that really messed up my sleep. After complaining they figured it out. But overall I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is very safe, clean and hospitable. This is where I will be staying whenever I’m in Lagos. "

The spa experience was nothing short of amazing — I indulged in both a massage and a facial, and the therapists were attentive, skilled, and incredibly professional. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge during my stay. The dining experience was equally exceptional. On my very first night, I dined at Idapo Lounge, and I was thoroughly impressed. The supervisor and waitstaff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Special shout-out to Blessed and Kennedy, who truly made my evening unforgettable. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming. A special thank you to Kennedy, who not only offered thoughtful food recommendations but also took the time to suggest ways I could explore Lagos and even helped with tips for car service. His genuine care and attentiveness elevated my overall experience — he embodies true hospitality. Overall, the entire team made my stay world-class. The service, the food, the spa, and the friendliness of everyone I encountered were all second to none.
