"We always stay at the Heritage. Beautiful hotel with amazing views of Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables. Bus stop just outside the hotel. Bus every 15 minutes. The rooms are big, comfortable and clean. Staff are excellent. Restaurant with log fire excellent. Pool, spa and sauna. This place is 10/10 for hospitality. This is the second time we have booked this year. We have already booked for next year. Can’t wait. Recommend the Heritage 100%."

"First, the staff is amazing - every person we came across in our 7 day stay was friendly, helpful and downright cheerful. The front desk staff at checkin and out were great. We made a lot of friends at ThreeSixty, the restaurant and bar where everyone was so helpful with suggestions and ideas for what we could do - Thanks Martin, Izzy, Josefina, Hannah, and our friends from Mexico - you guys are the best! Second, the location is absolutely unbeatable. There are 30 restaurants within a 5 minute walk, as are all the lakefront amenities, great shopping, great everything. The Gondola was a 10 minute walk... it really couldn't be more convenient if you plan to do any exploring. The room was fine, the bed was comfortable and waking up the the lakeviews was spectacular. Even got to use the small gym a couple of times. This was our first trip to NZ and Queenstown, but we will definitely be back."
