"El propietario es uno de los peores con los que he tenido un trato. Se desentendio de mi reservacion. Cuando yo me llame, dijo que no tenía reservacion y lo rento a alguien más. Fue un descarado y no ayudo en nada. Me disgusto mucho esa persona."

Close to the market an easy walk. The owner was really great and the outside really misleading...a sauna and cold pool for after, a nice hot tub, and the big surprise an indoor pool. VERY CLEAN and well managed. Very personal service better than a big hotel and breakfast cooked for you individually. My best stop in Ecudador for the value. They do not yet take credit cards so have cash...this was a great value and I will stay again when I return to Otavalo....really a good experience!!!!

This hotel is a true mirage, highly recommend! The property is beautiful, very well maintained, and the service is impeccable, probably the best my husband and I ever had. We travel quite a lot and we were truly impressed by this gem of the hotel and by people who work there.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property is in quiet countryside with a great view of the mountains, but is only a 5-minute drive to downtown Cotocachi. Good complementary breakfast.

What a beautiful and relaxing place. There's an excellent staff, a tasty restaurant on site, and many things to do if your decide to hang out on the grounds. It was a very romantic setting with incredible attention to detail. The gardens are amazing. The room was comfortable. They built a fire each night in our room and provided cool hot water bottles to go under the blankets at night, though we never found it particularly cold when we went in October.
But seriously, with Cerro Imbabura rising...

A charming hacienda with beautiful grounds. It is showing its age in places but is generally well-maintained. Thoroughly enoyed the fireplaces for cool mornings/evenings in the restaurant, drawing room, and our room. Service was excellent. The horseback ride with Ubertero was a highlight of our stay. A great place to stay in the Otovalo area.
