"Clean room, very helpful staff. Overall a very positive experience except that a rat ran across the parking lot from the smokers area into the bushes while we were standing there waiting for a cab to take us to dinner at about 6:30 pm. Kind of made me wonder….."

"Hotel ideally situated just off the A12. But there is no road noise that disturbed our sleep. Room was nice and clean well stocked with tea and coffee, soap, shampoo, hairdryer and iron. Breakfast was very good and kept us topped up for most of the day. Although we didn't eat in the hotel, the menu had enough variety and was decently priced. "The ground floor room was fine, with easy access to the parking area. The shower room was very clean and modern; the bedding was immaculate on a comfortable bed; it was a shame the carpet hadn't been vacuumed. We would have liked a small fridge and a second opening window as the weather was exceedingly hot, but we appreciated the air conditioning.
