Arrived was put on the first floor room since we came with a service dog which was in the reservation and the room was less but couldn’t get any price adjustment for the change of room type. Walked down the hall to our room there was a bucket on the carpet that was catching water from a leak in the hallway because a tile in the hallway ceiling was removed. Ice machine broken on first floor had to go to another floor. Lots of yelling in the hallway from a woman with an insanely loud deep voice very angry. Breakfast went to get a cup of coffee and I thought I was going to throw up from the taste of it I spit it out tasted like mold which I am highly allergic to with other disability and allergies. I had to walk to the gas station across the street and I asked how they’re coffee was explained the coffee at Comfort they stated they had good coffee I went to make a cup the cashier was kind enough to not charge me for a coffee also handed me 2 postcards of starved rock as I was staying with my husband and service dog for thr weekend during valentine’s day. I would never stay at a Comfort Inn again this is a 2nd horrible experience with this facility learned my lesson again. No thank you Comfort Inn there is nothing Comforting about this experience.

The place is a little worn. One of the beds in our room was broken and falling off the frame, exposing a metal part of the frame that would have been a hazard to my ankle had I not seen it first. Told the front desk they should shut the room down to any future renters/guest until it is fixed. Someone will be getting hurt if they don’t.

What a great hotel! Pet friendly, (very important !)rooms were immaculate, comfortable, shower/tub had great water pressure and for us tall people, the perfect height shower head!
