"Great new hotel with comfortable new rooms, beautiful huge bathrooms. The main area by the lobby is where the casino is, so it's LOUD and busy all the time"
"We had a panoramic chalet, which was very comfortable. Soon, after arriving at our chalet, another couple arrived who informed us that they were given the same chalet number. After a quick call to check in administration, this was easily corrected.
The hot tub was excellent after a great day on the trail feeding the deers and barbecuing outside. The beds were comfortable, and the property in general was spacious and very inviting. We ordered the full breakfast which was delivered to our chalet...
"My wife and I were doing a meandering drive from Ottawa to Montreal. We made a last-minute decision to stay here, grabbing the last room available. We knew it was a remote location, so our expectations were not high.
Owner Dominic, however, has created a jewel along the Ontario side of the Ottawa River that I highly recommend for lodging and, more importantly, the food!
The property used to be solely a restaurant, but post-pandemic, Dominic and his brother decided to turn the third generation...
"Our room was very clean and the bathroom was also clean. Most most important to us. We had a fridge which was a nice option. Coffee was in the room but the hotel had a nice breakfast including boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, breads, muffins, juice and a nice coffee machine that offers a variety of hot beverages. Would stay here again without hesitation "
"The hotel is close to 417 which means you are never too far from downtown. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Washroom was large and bright. Complimentary breakfast was very good but extremely busy. They weren’t kidding when they recommended getting down there early. The pool looked decent but we didn’t use it."
"Love this place! I have stayed here numerous times. Hidden gem in the woods. Great grounds well kept. Walking trails. Beds are super comfortable. Pool and hot tubs are great. Internet is good. It’s a great getaway not far from the hustle and bustle of Montreal. Highly recommend. Staff is super kind and goes the extra mile to assist. "
