"A very welcoming greeting upon arrival. The room was lovely and clean with plenty of storage space. The breakfast was very good and certainly set you up for the day. I didn’t eat in the pub for an evening meal, but it was a very quaint country pub, full of atmosphere. The menu choices looked very good, and if the breakfast was anything to go by I’m sure the meals would be very good too. Highly recommend the old inn."

"This is my favourite hotel. Full of character, a stones throw from the beach and the town. The most helpful, friendly staff. I especially love their breakfast, which as a dairy free vegetarian there is always plenty of options. I always choose to stay at the Royal Beacon when I’m breaking a long journey from Cornwall to up country. Amazing value for money."
