"This is a great property for staying in Amsterdam. It is located in a quiet neighbourhood and well connected for public transport. Knock knock bakery nearby is a must visit! Martin was very communicative and helpful. Be aware that there are 4 flights of steep stairs to the apartment which wasn’t a problem for us and is no doubt typical of properties in Amsterdam. "

Located across from a canal, it has extensive views of all the comings and goings on the canal. Beautiful! Please heed the owner's warning about the steep stairs. If you have mobility challenges in any way, this property is not for you. Having said that, my husband has a bum knee, and he was able to manage. Interior stairway offers child safety...

"Great apartment in a fun location. We really enjoyed being right in/on the edge of the hustle and bustle. And the location on the canal we were on was excellent. The tree-lined canal, the local restaurants and pubs, the early evening golden hour…all were great. Two things to note: the noise in the alley will definitely impact your sleep late into the night. But it is super quiet until 9 or 10 am so plenty of time to sleep in. Also, the small bed in the very small room with the limited...
