"Our room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were in room 301 which had very tiny windows, as is the nature of a building of this ages, in some rooms. It was fine as we were out and about anyway but I mention it should anyone wish to know. All the staff were friendly, professional and very helpful. The reception team are very happy to help with anything they can. They recommend a tour to us, which we took and love it. In fact we enjoyed it so much we did another one during our stay. We were very grateful for the recommendation, it was with Jovana, there is information in reception. The breakfast was a great start to the day. There was options for continental, cooked, fruits, yogurt and pastries. Again the breakfast staff were very pleasant. The hotel is very well placed for the sights and restaurants."

"The room was very clean and a good size. It did appear that finishing touches were needed regarding the ceiling and fixing of patio doors. Also the road entrance is not finished and it's quite a steep step up yo the main doors. The staff were happy to help with any questions we had and were very polite and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful but the room was quite small and the seating was very close together which made it tricky to get in and out of the chairs. We didn't sit out on the balcony as our view wasn't particularly pleasant as we were overlooking many sides and back of high buildings. I do feel the hotel although quite basic is value for money"

"Quietly located off St Christopher Street. Several steps to get to the hotel and a bit inconvenient if you have heavy luggage. Deluxe room was quite spacious and the shower/bathroom were a decent size. Limited options for breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful, especially Michael, Liezel, Barbara and Veronica. Small pool on the roof to relax."

"The location is amazing with close proximity to all the monuments and events. I enjoyed our stay here and breakfast is very good and it’s a good value for money. I would be a bit concerned about the noise cleaning other rooms early in the morning as well as the common areas and waking up the guests. Otherwise it’s quiet and we had a back room. The cleaning this is a good and the mattress is comfortable. The staff is very friendly and polite. The building is maintained, but needs better ventilation because of smells from the kitchen as well as from the sewage."

"We had an inner room and for a busy city centre location it was SO quiet. The room and bed were comfortable, fridge and coffee maker, iron + board all provided. The 5th floor roof terrace for breakfast and complimentary snacks 6-8pm was lovely, we were disappointed we couldn’t access at other times. Staff very friendly and helpful, bus info, advice on trips etc. The breakfast included local dishes as well as cereal, fruit, eggs etc. Only downside no “ordinary” / non Maltese fresh coffee (not instant) available."

The breakfast à la carte is fantastic, the building is stunning, and everything is beautifully maintained. But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. Every member of the team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making your stay special. When we needed help finding a doctor, they were incredibly helpful and supportive. That kind of personal care makes all the difference, especially when you’re away from home. You can find beautiful buildings and lovely breakfasts in many places, but it’s the people who turn a good hotel into an exceptional experience. Domus Zamittello gets this absolutely right. Do yourself a favor and stay here! It is worth every penny, and we would return without hesitation. A truly five-star experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend."
