Location, location, location! The Pacific Ocean is at the end of the street, and Pacific Grove’s walkable downtown is two blocks away (park your car - you may never need it). The living is easy in this spacious five-bedroom home: the main living areas are on the lower floor, along with the kitchen, dining room, laundry, a bath with a shower, a powder room and two bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins). A staircase leads to the upper floor, with three bedrooms (one Queen, two Twins, and one King) along with a full bath with a tub/shower.   The home is equipped with six Samsung smart TVs with YouTube streaming and DVR functionality. YouTube offers live TV, news and sports on over 85 channels (you may also log into your personal accounts, such as Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Hulu or Disney+).    Built in 1895, and completely updated, this is country coastal living at its best. You’re steps away from the coastal recreational trail (walk or bike to the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman’s Wharf). Lover’s Point, a sheltered white sand beach (and a haven for surfers, kayakers and scuba divers)—is a few minutes away. Here you’ll find a park, a volleyball court, and a seasonal kiddie pool along with a café, a grill, and The Beach House restaurant (check out their “Sunset Supper” specials).  When you’re not at the beach you can stroll to the weekly farmer’s market, library, museum, and downtown shops, restaurants and galleries… or hop in your car to explore scenic 17-Mile Drive, Pebble Beach, Carmel, and Big Sur.   Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0457

Family Vacay

The location was fantastic, close to beach, stores and restaurant. Unfortunately, after second day the back kitchen outlets went out and were not able to be fixed during our stay. Therefore, the toaster, micro, and coffee pot had to be placed on the floor to be used.

Pacific Grove Beach House

Well-equipped kitchen and bathroom amenities. The beds were very comfortable. Living rooms were spacious. We especially liked the location, close to the beach and walking trails, and the aquarium.

Great Family Experience

We enjoyed a long weekend with extended family. The property was perfect for us. It was clean and well stocked. The pillows on the beds were especially awesome. The location is excellent, we walked most places including Cannery Row, Lovers Point and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will certainly book it again if we stay in the Monterey area!

Monterey visit

Nice house in a great location! The house is spacious and has an amazing kitchen that has anything you might need to cook. The beach and park were very close for walking to and the aquarium was less than 1 mile. Our family enjoyed this location and we had a great time

Friends reunion and birthday celebration.

There were 7 of us staying at the house. The house was very clean and the beds were VERY comfortable. The house was well equipped, we needed nothing but the food we brought in! I recommend the Beach Club for large family or friend reunions!

Comfortable and great location

We had a great week in Pacific Grove at this very comfortable beach house. The things we care about most: -nice beds -well stocked kitchen -location (walking to town/ beach) If you are looking for a quaint, historic home, this is not that-- it's modern inside and well set up for extended families to enjoy together. No frills and not much for outdoor space, but great proximity and easy entry/ check out. Very responsive property management, too. Thanks! Hatfield-Buttler family

A lovely gathering place

Our three generation family flew in from across the US to spend a long weekend in Pacific Grove. The house is quite roomy and well appointed. The grandkids loved the quirky nooks, twin bedrooms, and large living spaces. Much of downtown Pacific Grove is within walking distance, as are parks and Lovers' Point on the bay. There is no yard at the house to speak of, but several parks are within a 6 block radius. We'd love to spend more time at this rental, should the occasion arise.

Six of my USF School of Nursing classmates & I returned to Michelle’s amazingly clean, bright & welcoming Pacific Grove home to celebrate our 80th Birthdays!! Not only is the home outfitted with every comfort & amenity, but it’s only a short (1-2 block) walk to restaurants, shops & THE BEACH! We enjoyed a magical time celebrating enduring friendships, our cherished families & careers, retirement & travel!! Thank you, Michelle, for making such a beautiful place available for us to enjoy!

Awesome college reunion for retired USF nurses!

The property offers an immaculately clean, bright & fresh welcome!! We loved the tastefully decorated old world charm of the home together with the efficiency of kitchen, bathroom & window covering upgrades! The proximity to the ocean, shops, restaurants & local attractions, (including Sunday Mass @ St. Angela’s😉) made our stay a STANDOUT in our long history of reunions!! Nice place with no hot water

This was a very nice VRBO. The location was amazing, but we had 7 people and not one of us were able to take a hot shower all 4 days, 3 nights we were there. There was also flooding in the downstairs shower and I had to unclog the hair in the drain. The response from the property was slow.

Best VRBO I've stayed!

This is by far the best VRBO stay I've had. First the communication w Michelle was proactive and informative. Check-in was so easy. The house is in great shape - newly renovated, clean, clean, clean. The only amenities you should bring on your own are cooking condiments. They have a few but bring your own oil, butter, seasonings, ketchup etc. Otherwise kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked. The area is great - walking trail w great views just a block away and near shops. Check-out is pretty standard - start dishwasher, washer w towels and take out the trash/recycling. Highly recommend.

PG house

This house was perfect for our family of grown children and grandchildren. Plenty of rooms and space, we could all fit around the table to eat. Walked to Lovers Point a few times, downtown PG and had a get together with our daughter in laws family in Monterey. Would have been nice to have ziplock bags or cling wrap for leftovers since we cooked at the house, but we made it work. I knew there would be no seasonings or anything so we brought what we needed.

Beautiful home. Response was great, but shouldn’t have had to reach out

First of all, this is a beautiful home in a wonderful location. As advertised, 2 blocks from the beach and downtown - amazing! We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, check-in was easy and simple. The first day there, the only downstairs shower was completely blocked and overflows. We have to wash all the mats and towels. They send a plumber on Thanksgiving which is both appreciatied and intrusive, with little regard or apology, although, I appreciated the quick response (but who wants a plumber at your “house” on a major holiday?). Once the plumbing was fixed, and the towels were in the laundry, my sister-in-law realized that while the house was listed as hosting a capacity of 10, there were exactly 8 full sized towels in the home. Additionally, I later got an earful from my father-in-law that that downstairs bathroom door didn’t lock. When I brought this up with the managing agency, I was told that I should have called, that they have 24 hour service. I guess, I could have, but to call 3 times on a holiday seems excessive. As a property management company, these problems should have been addressed before we got there. Instead, I was told that I was only the second family to stay there after it was remodeled- am I to be grateful for finding the flaws? I’m assuming they have fixed these issues and going forward, it will be an amazing place to stay, I didn’t appreciate the inconveniences and general lack of concern for our discomfort, particularly coming from a property management company.

A Blissful Escape

Our stay was fantastic! The house was so welcoming, large, and perfectly suited to our needs. Everything was clean, well stocked, and well taken care of. I appreciated the small touches that make all the differnece like the ample shampoo, conditioner, and lotion bottles as well as beautifully oragami level folded toilet paper. The king size bed was so comfortable and the view was so relaxing. We had no problems or issues at all. All of my friends liked the place and loved the locations easy access to everything. The applicances were great and with 10 people we really appreciated the three bathrooms. We loved this place and I will always remember it for the beautiful memories we made here. Thanks so much for the hospitality!

Nice stay

Great location, just down the street from a nice boardwalk along the bay and a few streets from Pacific Grove's shops, parks, and farmer's market (on mondays). House is comfortable with lots of beds and a nice big sofa. A few issues that might want to be looked into; automatic blinds stick in place and aren't easy to re-set. The upstairs blinds that can be pushed up or down manually are preferable. Fridge filter water doesn't work so make a note of that; nice that you provided a manual water filter in the fridge. Kitchen is well-stocked; Placemats should be washed.

Beautiful stay in Pacific Grove.

We were are a group of 6 that had a great stay in the home.The beds were comfortable, the living spaces large enough for everyone to have some time to themselves or be together.The home is 1 block to the main road at the Ocean, and a few blocks from Lovers Point. You probably couldnt find a better location to base your stay.The bathrooms were remodeled and super clean. Everyone reported that their shower was strong and the water nice and hot. The kitchen had modern appliances and plenty of cookware for our group.We have only good things to say about this home and our stay!You

Girlfriends Getaway

We loved the house and the location! We enjoyed being able to just walk down the street to access the lovely walking path along the bay. The house is close to great restaurants and lots of shops. There were 5 of us and we each had our own bedroom. The beds and pillows were very comfy. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic location and view!

This is a great property for family or friends looking for a great gathering spot for a vacation. The location is incredible and close to so many excellent activities and the beautiful nature the area has to offer. Nicely equipped kitchen and bathrooms are modern and updated.
