Cozy, well- maintained and clean rooms. The staffs communicated promptly. My parents and I absolutely loved the place. Such a great location in Monterey just by the sea. Would love to be back here again. Highly recommended.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is neat and clean. Breakfast was in paper bags which we really like because we can just pick up and eat anywhere such as our room or the patio. thank you for the wonderful time!

We stayed in a king room that was larger than normal. Really liked the extra room. The bed was very comfortable and we liked having a balcony. It is dated but clean. Towel rack was missing and the furniture is chipped. The staff was very friendly. We have stayed there a couple of times and always enjoyed it. Great location to the beach.

We had a beautiful room. The balcony was amazing. Nice view of the ocean. When staying in Pacific Grove it is good to remember that most hotels do not have A/C. What sets this one apart is that they will provide you with a box fan to help with air circulation. Couple that with opening the balcony door your room cools down so nicely. The bed is super comfortable. The staff was very attentive.

What a sweet and special property! We had room 211 and it was a dream. We had a corner and a view of the ocean from our bed. It was a comfortable bed and thoughtful amd adequate breakfast. The woman who checked us in was so friendly and kind. The location was ideal for Lovers point or a sunset in front of the lighthouse. I recommend a night or three in Pacific Grove!

The rooms are very spacious, the bed was comfortable, the TV worked well, the carpeting was newer and it was nice to have a balcony. The rooms are a bit dated, no elevators, and the exterior of the property needs some paint to combat the seaside salty air.

The room was spacious and spotless. The deck was lovely and shady, with a table and two chairs. They offered free boxed breakfasts for each guest: croissant, double chocolate muffin, babybel cheese, apple, boxed juice, coffee, and teas! Incredible! Parking could not have been easier. We plan to spread the word about this place; we would definitely return next time we’re in the area.
