A short walk to the beach, including to Asilomar and the PG lighthouse, and with whales visible from the LR and DR windows during whale season, this home will help you feel far away from the world. Outstanding Views

I stayed here with my Husband, his parents and brother. We were all in love with this location and the family sitting areas covered with glass windows to enjoy the view. We felt very comfortable in this house with 5 adults; plenty of places to lounge together, eat and cook together. We found the house had everything we needed for our stay and would definitely love to stay here again.

Great house on the beach in Pacific Grove

Truly a beautiful spot, just across the road from Asilomar Beach. With three bedrooms, it's great for family get-togethers.

Location, location, location

We saw whales, deer, and sea otters from the breakfast table. Only a short drive to Carmel, Pebble Beach, and the Hwy 1 scenic drive. There is a walking trail on the oceanside with the most amazing views. We could not have had a better stay!

Great overall experience

The home was fantastically located next to the ocean front trails. While the interior is a bit dated, it is very kid friendly. I highly recommend this home and hope to stay there again.

Pacific Grove house

The house was extremely clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms were nice. My only very slight negative is that the furniture in the common rooms was a bit old. The view was spectacular and the house was very convenient to trails along the shore. We would definitely stay again.

Awesome Beach House

We loved our stay at this beach house in Pacific Grove. It is in an awesome location in between Monterey and Carmel. The beach view is stunning from the kitchen, as well as the living room. There was plenty of room for everyone. Only wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Sunset

The thing that drew me to booking this property was the view - it definitely did not disappoint. The unobstructed ocean view from inside the house is simply beautiful. There’s just so much to see and do within that walkable coastline. The house can use some cosmetic upgrades but definitely fully functional from its original charm. I can see my family making this an annual vacation spot.

Amazing view!

Location of the house is perfect. Close to everything. The view of the ocean is breathtakingly beautiful! House big and spacious, a little dirty though. Kitchen is very out-dated and dishes were dirty. Inside of kitchen drawers were crusty utensils. The windows were exactly what the reviews said, they have a strange film on them.

Panoramic ocean view

The location is everything. Walkable to Pacific Grove Golf. Beautiful views. We sit and chat and look out the window the whole time. Don’t miss out!!

Awesome location but….

Location of this house is phenomenal!! Path and beach directly across the street! Couple of issues with the house: couldn’t use gas fireplace as there was a bad odor that did not dissipate, broken children’s toy found under the sheets on one bed, a used earplug found in floor under bed in bedroom, film on front windows is deteriorating, altering view.

Beautiful home and location

The view from this home was amazing! There was plenty of room for us to spread out and all of the beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and kitchen had everything we needed. The washer/dryer was an added bonus. The deer in the yard were friendly and so pretty. We were able to listen to the waves and go tide pooling across the street. It was a great family vacation spot for our family of 7.

Beautiful views!

We had a great 3 day stay here! The views were amazing and we watched the sunset comfortably from the living room. It would've been nice to be able to open windows and hear the ocean as well, but that's minor. There was plenty of space to spread out, prep food, eat together, etc. We didnt get to use the grill or firepit, but that looked like a fun place to relax. We were close to so much and traveled to/from comfortably. We took some nice walks along the beach path, just steps outside the home. We all really enjoyed our stay.I would suggest adding a water filter pitcher, or at least reminding people know there isnt filtered water.

Beach Views and More

The fact that we could walk across the road to the beach was amazing enough, but sitting in the dining area with a meal or coffee AND looking out to a spectacular view of the ocean scape was amazing. We had dear visit us in the evening and the home was comfortable and well decorated. The house manager Frank was on the spot when issues arose. 5 star experience all the way.

Beautiful spot

And we generally had a good time. But the bank of windows looking towards the ocean, have had a “film” on them which is deteriorating, affecting the view. The view is the selling point, but scratched and blurry windows detract.One other item I felt should be installed, are grab bars in bath and shower, to ensure “older persons” safety, and maybe some of those anti-slip adhesive patches.The home is VERY comfortable otherwise, and it is in a great position.

Beautiful Location

The view is spectacular in any weather. The furnishings were comfortable (though beds in the kids' room were not great for age 60+ spines). The kitchen was well appointed. Note to self: next time we will bring drinking water and not rely on the tap. I do hope there will be a next time! The waves and clouds and birds are mesmerizing!

Excellent Ocean Views

This home has the most amazing water views! Just step down the driveway and you are at a walking trail along the ocean. So many spots to step down off the trail and into the water. Beach just around the corner (literally). It’s an absolutely amazing place to stay. Minutes from Monterey. There was a family of deer that would come graze on the plants about twice a day every day we were there. What a treat to see for this city girl! The home was well stocked. It was so comfortable and so cozy. We loved the living areas with the views and the cozy fireplace. The check in & check out with the property mgr, Frank, could not have been easier. I would stay here again & again. Absolutely loved our stay!

By the Ocean

Thus property is located directly across the street from the ocean. Beautiful views but foggy most of the time so never got to see a nice sunset. Very well equipped. Thought it could be a little cleaner but not bad. Windows were dirty Si it was hard to enjoy the views from the dining room. Watch for the deer. We had 6-8 visit every morning and evening. Not afraid, we took pictures of them from the front porch.

A really wonderful place

Spectacularly clean. A gorgeous home with a view of the ocean and right across the street. A really nice hiking trail along the beach going south for about a mile. Extremely well-stocked kitchen with high end equipment. Beds and blankets were extremely comfortable. Overstuffed furniture was very comfy and made even more cozy by ample extra blankets that were very soft. It was well-heated for us in the winter. Photos are very accurate; a shiny clean and cozy home. Deer wander around the yard sometimes, adding to the delight. Communication with Sharon, the property owner, was excellent. One downside is the home’s shining glory is the beach-facing windows, but they appear very dirty. In fact, they are not dirty. However, there is some film on them which is decaying in a uniform manner such that your gorgeous view is not as it should be. The only other downside is that the deposit was almost twice the cost of the 4-day rental and left me feeling very stressed about having it returned to us simply because the amount was so large. If we find out those front windows have been replaced, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Killer location & views / comfy beds & pillows

We really loved the location and the views — absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which made a big difference for our stay! The kitchen was well-stocked with plenty of supplies, although a few pans could use replacing. The host was very nice and super responsive, which we really appreciated.Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying again!
