"Very disappointed with our stay. The toilet in our room was broken for two days, making it extremely inconvenient and uncomfortable. Despite reporting the issue multiple times, no one came to fix it during that time. Because the toilet was unusable, we had to go all the way to the public restroom in the basement whenever we needed to use the bathroom. "The hotel and rooms are old. It's noisy outside. There were workers doing maintenance, which wasn't a great experience. Even though the guy gave us a better room, it still wasn't clean or modern enough. The New Yorker Hotel has a good reputation, and I hope they take better care of it in the future."

"Staff were friendly, I was able to check in a couple hours early. In short walking distance to Penn Station/Madison Square Garden. About a 10 minute walk to Times Square if you want to be in a less hectic area. Room was kind of tiny but suitable for 2 people for a queen size bed."
