I know this spot is a go-to for ski season, but it was also perfect for our summer hiking trip to Mt. Rainier. It made a great home base to unwind after long trail days. "Very nice property and location. The grocery store is just down the road and there are plenty of close places to hike like Packwood Lake without traveling to Rainier National Park. The host was great a very responsive to our needs. The hot tub offered a nice view of Mt Rainier."

"The property is great and exactly as described in the listing. It is 45 minutes to Rainier but you don’t have closer options nearly as nice. There’s not many places to eat in town that appealed to us so we cooked out often on the nice grill provided. Sitting on the deck before or after a long day of hiking and hearing Butter Creek cascading in the rocks below the yard is particularly nice. One night three female elk splashed across the stream."

"I couldn’t be more in love with the Chipmunk Cabin than I am! It was clean, cozy, and SO cute. The hot tub was the perfect place to relax after hiking in Mount Rainier. Tricia and Kyle were wonderful hosts! The information they leave in the welcome binder is very informative and detailed. They have a well stocked house and seem to have thought of everything. I hope I am able to stay here again, and would definitely recommend their place to a friend. "
