"15 minutes from Round Top where we spent our time researching real estate for sale. Plenty of nature to enjoy and a comfortable stay, but some improvements could improve the experience. There are no window coverings/privacy shades, which makes it hard to sleep after the sun rises and uncomfortable when the sun goes down. "This place was awesome for us- we had to come on short notice with a 7 year old and a 3 month old and it was so easy to take care of our family while we stayed here. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was decently stocked, the crib was awesome, and the country setting was perfect. Will return in the future if we need a place!!"

"Great house, the owners, Micheal/Leah had everything prepared when we arrived. We had 12 guys there for a golf tournament near by, Micheal even set up a small driving range for us off the back porch, a mini “Top Golf”. "We booked the Elf’s Aerie for our daughter’s 15th birthday. She (we) loved it! The 3 of us were cozy but comfortable in the Aerie. Our stay was during a Texas heatwave so the air conditioning was a must and kept us nice and cool throughout our stay. Our daughter loves stargazing. If we would have allowed it, she would’ve stayed up all night roasting marshmallows by the campfire and gazing at the stars. The owners have seemingly thought of everything we needed for an awesome stay. We even loved the unique outdoor shower. The location is peaceful and rural but only 15 minutes or so from Bastrop. Highly recommend!"
