Comfortable beds, and sweet back porch with three ceiling fans. The property and the pond are awesome! Fun to hike and explore. We will definitely come back to visit this little ol calbin."

The bed linens (pillows, duvet) could use replacing and/or a really good washing. "We had a nice relaxing stay at this house. It was so restful to come back here after spending time in the city. Also very clean. Super comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood. The bed sheets were a little too strongly smelling of laundry detergent, living room could’ve used a coffee table or a rug to make it more cozy. Our stay was during a Texas heatwave so the air conditioning was a must and kept us nice and cool throughout our stay. Our daughter loves stargazing. If we would have allowed it, she would’ve stayed up all night roasting marshmallows by the campfire and gazing at the stars. The owners have seemingly thought of everything we needed for an awesome stay. We even loved the unique outdoor shower. The location is peaceful and rural but only 15 minutes or so from Bastrop. Highly recommend!"
