"This place is just wonderful. It is finished to a high standard and is very comfortable and homely. It is situated in a very quiet location and is only 10 minutes from the seaside at Paignton. "We needed a couple of days rest and relaxation. Daisy Cottage was perfect, a beautiful cottage, light and airy in a quaint little courtyard, very peaceful. We were very comfortable and felt very at home, there was a lovely welcome pack for us on arrival too. The public house in the village of Marldon is a short walk from the cottage and has a wonderful menu and a very pretty beer garden. Highly recommend."

"The cottage has always been perfect for our stay even though my partner is 93years old with mobility issues, deafness and limited sight. Each year it gets a little harder to manoeuvre for him so sadly not sure whether we will be able to return next year which is sad for us both as we love it there. One complaint is the limited parking area for rose cottage as it is so small, however we did manage to get the gardener to cut the hedge back , so that helped. "We stayed at this hotel on Saturday and unfortunately were quite disappointed with the experience. The hotel itself felt very dated and cleanliness standards were not what we expected. The swimming pool area was disappointing as the steam room was not working during our stay. There also didn’t seem to be enough staff on duty. We waited a very long time to be served at the bar, and when we finally received the wine we ordered, it tasted awful, almost as if it was out of date and we couldn’t drink it. Breakfast was okay-ish, but overall the stay did not feel worth the price and the hotel really needs updating and better management, was definitely overpriced as well."
