"Staff were very helpful and friendly. My friend and I booked a twin room which was a very good price. Overall it was clean but there was no plug in the sink and no mattress protector on the beds. The room has a safe and a small fridge, but the biggest disappointment was the absence of a kettle and tea/coffee facilities. Maybe this is a generation thing, but it has put us of returning. We had a drink in the bar which was very nice and reasonably priced. I suppose you get what you pay for. "

"Only one thing let this hotel down. False advertising!! We booked expecting a dble and a single bed in our family room. What we got was a double and a single mattress on the floor. My daughter is on the spectrum and had a meltdown about sleeping on it , neither my husband or I were happy about it either. We showed the gentleman on duty , our photo of the family room wed booked off their advertising. Said theyd never had a room with beds like that. Spoilt our stay. The room was clean with fresh towels and bedding. Tea and coffee available in room. Ample free parking availability. "

"We had asked for a quiet room but we were placed next to the wedding venue. Noise from the party until midnight then noise until 2am from the staff clearing up! Check what is going on in the hotel if you are near room 236!"

"Hotel was closed when I arrived late even though I had let them know earlier that I would be late because of a train delay. I had tried to contact them and email them. No one answered door bell on so called hotel, and telephone number on sign didn't work. It feels like a scam hotel. Old and shabby building. No one locally has heard of this hotel when I spoke to locals. Don't use. "
