We opted for three nights here after 2 nights at a 5-star in old town Yogyakarta and were delighted the contrast. This was quiet and more personable. The "in-village" experience was pleasant, never obtrusive. Security and comfort were good. I was randomly searching for a cheap hotel around jalan solo yogya and found this hotel with affordable rate and strategic location. Hotel staff are hospitable and helpful. Recommendable.

Our experience was great from check-in to check-out. Ririn, Erni and all the wonderful staff at Borobudurhills made sure we had a very pleasant stay. Quiet and serene. Beautiful view. Easily accessed and avoids crushing jogja traffic. Lots of room. Efficient sir conditioning in all parts of the villa. Ella is wonderful!
